Fråga: Vad är Foto Magica?
Svar: Foto Magica arrangerar inspirerande fotoresor, fotokurser och workshops med fokus på landskapsfoto och personlig utveckling. Vi erbjuder små grupper och professionell handledning för att utveckla ditt fotograferande. På våra resor ingår alltid eget rum, bildgenomgång, en timmes personlig handledning efter resans avslut, din bästa bild från resan utskriven och mycket mer.

Fråga:Vilka typer av fotoresor erbjuder ni?
Svar: Vi erbjuder landskapsfotoresor huvudsak i Skandinavien och Europa men även i exempelvis Kanada. VI erbjuder även fotoworkshops och fotokurser med fokus på landskapsfotografi.

Booking & Payment

Fråga:Hur bokar jag en fotoresa med Foto Magica?
Svar: Du bokar enkelt via vår webbplats. Välj den resa du är intresserad av. När vi skriftligen bekräftat din bokning är den bindande enligt det avtal som gäller för paketresor. Fram till 6 månader innan avresa kan du exempelvis kostnadsfritt avboka. Se våra villkor här

Question: Is it possible to cancel or change a reservation?
Answer: Yes, our booking terms and conditions comply with the legal regulations governing package tours.

Travel & Destinations

Fråga:Vilka destinationer kan jag resa till med Foto Magica?
Svar: Vi arrangerar resor till bland annat Lofoten, Island, Hebriderna, Skottland, England, Spanien, Jämtland, Slovenien och Spanien samt till vissa destinationer i Nordamerika och Asien. Varje destination erbjuder unika landskap och fotomöjligheter. Många av våra resor återkommer regelbundet och flera nya läggs till varje år.

Question: How large are the groups on the tours?
Answer: Our groups are small (5–6 participants) to ensure personalized guidance and a more flexible and inspiring experience. We also often have two guides.

Question: What level of fitness do I need to keep up?

Answer: Our photography tours are rarely physically demanding. In rare cases, there may be a day during the itinerary when we need to walk a short distance to reach our destination. Each photo tour begins with a description of this under the heading “Physical Requirements.” “Low” and “Medium” indicate easy destinations. If you have any concerns about whether you can keep up on a specific tour, please feel free to email us directly, and we’ll get back to you shortly with an answer.

Guides

Question: Who are the tour guides on the trip?

Svar: Du kan närmare bekanta dig med våra guider här. Oftast guidar Mattias Sjölund tillsammans med Bengt Ahlberg. I sällsynta fall samarbetar vi med ej svenskspråkiga guider men då finns alltid Mattias eller Bengt med på resan.

Question: What languages does the guide speak?

Svar: Om den primära guidens huvudsråk är annat än norska eller svenska så är språket alltid engelska. Det finns i dessa fall alltid även en svenskspråkig guide med på resan.

Photography Techniques & Workshops

Question: Do I need to have photography experience to participate?
Answer: No, our photography tours are suitable for both beginners and more experienced photographers. We offer personalized guidance in the field and in the digital darkroom.

Question: What equipment do I need to bring?
Answer: We recommend a camera with manual settings, a landscape lens, a tripod, and extra memory cards. A more detailed equipment list will be sent out before each trip.

Safety & Security

Question: Is my money safe when I book a trip?
Answer: Yes, Foto Magica is authorized to sell package tours and has taken out travel insurance with the Kammarkollegiet.

Question: Are the trips adapted to any travel restrictions?
Answer: We always follow current restrictions issued by the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and the Public Health Agency of Sweden, among others, and inform participants well in advance of any changes that affect the trip.
